Et à part ça tout le concert Odin Raven's Magic était génial !! surtout la fin (j'ai cru que j'allais mourir !!!)

je crois que je choisi celui-là aussi. Surtout lors de leur dernière tournée avec le drap et les ombres... un moment ultra intense.

Sinon j'ai beaucoup beaucoup beaucoup aimé la track qu'ils ont fait, tous en rond, Jonsi à l'harmonium (seul au début) et qui reste calme tout le long... (ceux qui ont vu la dernière tournée reconnaîtront peut-être...)

mais sinon, leur concert en général, de la 1ère à la dernière note, est quelque chose de totalement prenant et bouleversant.

Olivier, j'ai passé une super nuit grâce à toi (c'est tendancieux ça non?), je me suis remis ce petit concert a 3h du matin et, bien qu'extrèmement creuvé, mes yeux sont restés ouverts pendant un long moment. Mon dodo a été marveilleux après ça ^^

Dans mon souvenir, Odin c'était génial en live, mais cet extrait me dit que c'était encore mieux
Je sais quelle sortie de cd je vais attendre avec impatience maintenant !!!

1. Un film va sortir sur leur spectaculaire tournée en Islande. Voilà la bande-annonce, splendidissime!

2. 5 novembre, sortie d'un mini double-album regroupant de chansons inédites, des lives et des versions acoustiques!

Bref, que des bonnes nouvelles!

2007/2008 releases



time for an umbrella news update on what's going on with sigur rós right now. the boys are being very creative these days and have a bunch of projects and releases lined up, a total of 5 or 6 releases planned for the next 8 months. here's what we know:

* hlemmur DVD+CD. eta - july 2007.
the 2002 film and soundtrack together in a double release package. the release will contain all new artwork with a lengthy booklet drawn by the band.


* new EP. eta - august 2007.
tracks: von (new version), salka, lagið í gær, rokklagið. lagið í gær and rokklagið will have different titles as these were only working titles. the release will include a new live video as a bonus, with footage from the upcoming DVD release.


* live DVD. eta - october 2007.
sigur rós on the road: the as yet untitled DVD of last summer's iceland tour. the DVD is being finished by dean deblois, an animation filmmaker who wrote mulan and directed lilo & stitch. he's also a sigur rós fan. the concert footage is going to be tied together with a narrative and some short interviews/voiceovers with the band, plus footage of iceland in general. it's going to be a live DVD but with a lot more to offer than just concerts. in september the film will be premiered in a cinema in reykjavík, possibly in other cities as well.


* acoustic LP. eta - october 2007.
full-length album of acoustic songs. the band has written a lot of new acoustic songs likely to be included on the album, other likely contenders are acoustic reworkings are ágætis byrjun, starálfur, von, heysátan, samskeyti, vaka and njósnavélin. the band will begin recording the acoustic album next month in a summerhouse in the 300-person town of flateyri.


* odin's raven magic DVD+CD. eta - january 2008.
the complete orchestral piece odin's raven magic in concert on DVD and CD. the music has been mixed and is currently being mastered now by a classical music expert. the film footage itself is being edited as well. i think the recordings are from the 2004 concert in paris.

Oui j'avais rapidement vu tout cela, mais quand on voit des sorties annoncées au mois de juillet, qui n'ont pas pointée le bout de leur nez (ou boite en plastique dans le cas présent)...on peut se poser des questions
Ca m'étonnerais qu'ils respectent vraiment ce planning...
